About our yarn

The yarn we use is Polycotton blend: 65% Polyester and 35% Cotton.

The dye we use to color our yarn is fiber reactive dye plus we use color fixer to ensure that the colors will hold to the yarn for a long time.

When working on our yarns, slight crocking will happen on highly saturated colored yarns but do not worry, you can easily wash off the colors on your hands with just soap and water.

Color fading on yarn will naturally happen due to age. Fading can also be caused on how often you wash your finished projects. Just like your normal clothes, colors fade faster the more you wash them.

Polycotton blend yarn is relatively heavier than acrylic yarn which would make bigger projects a bit heavy.

Polycotton blend yarn is also absorbable, so we don't recommend our yarn to be worn for water activities.

Note for yarns:

Colors may differ from skein to skein, even within the same dye lot due to the hand-dyeing process. We recommend that you purchase enough yarns from the same dye-lot batch for your projects, since dye-lots may not be repeated.

Please note that the colors may vary slightly from the picture due to lighting conditions, computer monitor settings and camera calibration.

Yarn care guide:

Gentle washing will help retain your project's quality longer.

Air-dry in the shade to avoid colors fading.

TAKE NOTE: Although the color in this yarn has been set, it is possible to see a small amount of color exhaust in the water during your first wash. This is important to remember especially when using deep and saturated colors. To minimize bleeding, handwashing with cold water is advised.
